Highlights | CRCM7 and CRCM13, were generated with reduced antenna size when compared with wild type. Mutants exhibited a high Chla/b ratio, photochemical yields of PSII, electron transport rate, cell density, and lipid content. Mutants may be useful to augment the bioproducts including biofuels on a commercial scale. |
